Modeling and Simulation

Modeling and simulation are essential foundational technologies for modern flight and military training. As technology advances and under the influence of 5G and lightweight design, training methods for aircraft and military systems are changing fundamentally — hands-on training with real personnel is increasingly replaced by simulators.

Simulation systems primarily reflect physical fidelity. Modern simulation has developed largely around the US military, successively building simulation, testing and evaluation procedures and applying them on the battlefield — from the Gulf War and Kosovo to Afghanistan — demonstrating the philosophy that "the side that calculates more prevails."

With the assistance of US advisers, IngSafe's research team considers simulation-system architecture, interoperability, and event and time management to build unique simulation techniques. Combining many years in specific military modeling domains with computer-based data analysis, we have developed distinctive simulation-analysis methods that improve fidelity as well as verification, validation and accreditation — opening up the challenges and prospects of digital battlefield simulation across academia, business and the military.
